Tido has shown all of this summer ( 2008 ). He went to his first show in dorchester at The Zone One Arabian Horse Club.
He was Awesome. I took him in eveything from Showmanship to Western Pleasure to English Equitation Tido did better
than I had ever thought he oould have at his first show! He won showmanship and Junior Horse. He also finished in the
ribbons in everything but Show Hack! The people at Zone One could not believe it, they had basically watched him develop into
the beautiful show horse he is today!

Tostido
2004 Dun Overo Pinto gelding. I bought "Tido" as a 3 year old stallion from the Bilyea Semi Annual horse
sale in denfeild. I had not planned on buying anything at all. We simply went for our usual wormers and PIE from the lovely
ladies in the kitchen. Me I always have to look and see what is there ( Who doesn't, right?). Not long after looking around
I saw this BEAUTIFUL paint stud who was acting a little crazy. I went in to see him because I cannot resist a paint for some
reason. He had been put into a pen next to two mares. I later came to find out that he had never really seen a mare other
than his mother. Anyways, as soon as I got him away from the mares he had the kindest, smartest, and willing eyes I had ever
seen. I said to Kim that I really liked him. We though nothing more of as I really didn't have money to buy him.
The first horse was being announced into the ring. " The first horse we have here tonight, a 2004 model paint.
We have no papers for him he is being sold as a grade stallion." In walks my horse! I was in love all over again. kim
looked at me and he was going really cheap! I said I have to have him. So a few bids later I was the proud owner of a 2004
model Pinto Stallion.
I went to move him for his nights stay as I had no trailer there. I was draged through the sales barn and
once again he was screaming at the top of his lungs! Again, as soon as he was by himself and paying attention he was all ears
inquisitive and longing to meet all of the clan!
I called a few people and Anne Phillips had to come and see him as she was at an open house not far. She had
brought her trailer and offered to ship him home for me. I called mom and dad and told dad to get a stall ready at the
far end of the barn ( AWAY FROM THE MARES) and I brought hime home! 48 hours later he was a differnet horse I was walking
him all over getting him used to the surroundings! I got him lounging and eventually saddled and GELDED in time to start working
on showmanship for the summer!

Awards November 22, 2008
Well the year is done and a great year it was! The Zone One Arabian Horse Club awards night was November 22,
2008. A great night of dinner and fun and recognitioin for everybody's hardwork! Tido and I got for Reserve Grand Chapions
for the Year including: English Pleasure Novice, Junior Horse, Senior English Equitation 18 And Over, and Senior Showmanship!
What an accomplishment for the first year of showing for Tido and I. We have moved to Cherry Hill Equestrian Center for the
winter and we look forward to an even better year next year.

Tido Had his first show under saddle at the Zone 1 Arabian Club! He was excellent. He placed in all but 1
class! He showed the arabians how a showmanship pattern is supposed to look like! He was second in his first class and was
stylish all the way to the end, although he was very tired at the end of the day.
